The Goodfellas Project C.I.C was set up with grit, passion and perseverance to help fill the void in how health is approached both privately and within the NHS.
We've achieved funding from the NHS and Paddle UK to undertake research and deliver sessions using our unique model that is proven to significantly benefit people experiencing physical, mental, emotional and social health difficulties. Using our unique methods and style within a variety of natural settings.
The Goodfellas Project started by giving away free paddle board sessions to people experiencing the effects of stress, it started without any funding and took 2 years to receive our first funding grant which was by a fantastic local GP who was watching our efforts from the sidelines and saw the value in what we provided.
Since then, we set up The Goodfellas `Project as a Community Interest Company in its own right, which has gained the attention of local media outlets like the BBC, along with our industry's leading body Paddle UK.
We're currently providing Chill n Chat Sessions to local people in Taunton along with developing a game changing programme for sufferers of P.T.S.D led by our clinical psychologist Dr Nicole Hudson.
We've a particular interest in working within the UK's emergency services's to both prevent and recover staff from sick leave caused by the effects of such demanding roles.
Along with military personal and families both serving and veteran to bring what we do to the forefront of the people most in need.
The mission has always remained simple, to provide an exceptional wellness service to everyone, regardless of background or financial circumstances.
The Goodfellas Project C.I.C will growing throughout the UK
